Our adopted charity
Chase has formally adopted Vale House, a charity organisation that specialises in end-of-life-care for patients with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Based in Oxford, they are due to launch a £4 million fund-raising appeal to build a new centre to double their patient capacity.
Nina is working with them to launch the PR campaign. She has also been invited to join the Board of Directors from the beginning of 2008 and will be raising their profile with local and national press.
Nina is passionate about helping this charity, having nursed her own mother-in-law through the early stages of Alzheimer’s and then witnessed the care that Vale House gave her mother-in-law, and the support they gave her family, for the next six years.
Charity fundraising is a highly competitive sector and bringing Alzheimer’s into the public eye will be hugely challenging. Visit the Vale House website
